

The mission of each story can be played in many ways. Complicating things is the fact that your character has malaria, which means you'll occasionally have to play well with more rag tags underground, this is the only group that can keep your potentially deadly symptoms away. You will spend most of the story working for these two groups, knowing their power structure, and carrying out all the violent things they throw in your way. At the heart of all this bloodshed are the two main organizations, the militant UFLL and the revolutionary APR.

He quickly becomes a passionate figure, so you'll need to start working for the various warring factions that Jackal has armed so you can get the supply line back to your target. You are a mercenary working for a client who sent you to an unknown African country mired in civil war, and your job is to find an arms dealer known as "The Jackal". Combined with solid multiplayer, the sheer breadth of Far Cry 2's action gives you plenty of reason to get lost in the African wilderness and yet sometimes feel uncomfortable moving from one place to another. Diverse landscapes and a variety of environmental factors work with a wide variety of weapons to give you tremendous freedom to reach every mission. In addition to providing an amazing sunset view, Far Cry 2's free roaming area is wonderfully integrated with first-person combat.

It's an awesome 50-square-kilometer African landscape that shapes the open world of the game. All sorts of names and faces are introduced throughout the story, but the real star is not the one who marks the smuggled weapon in search of blood diamonds. In the chaotic world of Far Cry 2 mercenaries, gunmen, and armed militias, you'll find yourself trapped in a vicious circle of suspicious clients and paper-thin alliances.
